I have been interested in photography for many years, but this became more of a passion with the arrival of digital technology.

I have always been a keen a landscape photographer, but recently my subject matter has broadened and my approach has become more urban and more impressionistic. I really enjoy finding those little corners of beauty that most people pass by.

I am a Fellow of the Royal Photographic Society, have gained the AFIAP award and the DPAGB from the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain. In 2013 I obtained a 1st Class honours degree in Photography from Westminster University. I have regularly entered my photographs in both national and international exhibitions, but now I focus on just a few national competitions where I have had the occasional success.

I am a past Chairman of the Harpenden Photographic Society, but since moving north to Tynemouth am now the Programme Secretary for Tynemouth PS.
